I'm currently planning a trip to Glasgow for Christmas 2014 for 3 of us in J on a classic award. We plan to spend a couple of days in DXB on the way over but just connect in DXB on the way back. If I book SYD-DXB and DXB-GLA as 2 different sectors online it is 156k points but only 128k points when booked as a connection only. Assuming I can find availability is there anyway to have a stopover for 128k points?
i also see limited availability this far out for sectors on EK metal, do EK release flights later than QF?
