Suites savers now available

You are right, TPR menu hasn't changed in yonks, so that is in a perverse way, consistent.
Except for no lobster and foie gras before 6.30pm. That is cost cutting.

This is also cost-cutting: in Suites, "let me know when you want your pyjamas and your slippers."
What ? Just give me them things NOW already. (This was not verbalised obviously).
Actual event: after 10 minutes, "I'll need those pyjamas and slippers now, please."
And I'd gifted the whole crew A LOT of chocolates.

DeluxFlyer you are right not on the menu before 6.30, served morney style with asparagras and veggies




But agree with other comments .

Correct menu hasn't change din years.

I normally ask for lobster even if arrive at breakfast time ( takes about 20 mins when asked that time).


TPR needs a spalsh of 2017 talent!

I'm taking SIN_SYD on SQ231 early Sat in Suites. I've done it many times and still get a kick out of it. Well done on getting the waitlist. Mine was a late booking so lucked out getting the savers. Unfortunately only the 777 on the way up there but still v. nice!

I was very surprised I got them. I was booked in J for the same flight as the savers were initially sold out. I logged back in only a week ago (10 days before the flight) and thought I would check, and they had appeared as waitlist and thought what the hell may as well try. Only 48 hours later they came through!

Just waitlisted the return flight, lets hope my luck keeps running (even if only on a 777)!
 
just saw on sam chui's instagram that the SQ reveal is 2 November. not sure if that's been known for a while. keen to see it!

about a month ago i booked SQ 232 right when the window opened , then waited 2 weeks to book my return on SQ 221, but about 2 days before the flights i needed would be loaded (i'd been checking daily ahead of the opening of the booking window) they took down all sq 232 and 221 flights for saver level redemptions :( i didn't expect it to happen so far out from the 2nd nov unveil and i was devastated, nothing's come back since. now we have to go EK F instead... the missus isn't happy o_O

Hmm so there's Standard award seats available? On par with EY apartments redemptions I think.
 
I'm currently booked in J (2 pax) for MEL-SIN for 17/11 and have waitlisted F (2 Pax) for the same flight. Currently there is 1 saver award available to be booked, but not 2, hence the waitlist. Should I book the one seat in F and waitlist the 2nd pax in F, or just wait and hope my 2xF waitlist comes through in the next 3 weeks?

I've already asked for chasers to be sent off for my waitlist twice. One chaser from 3 weeks ago, and the 2nd was last week. Should I keep calling once a week to chase the waitlist seats or is this quite annoying for SQ?

I would take the single saver F ASAP - it may disappear if some else takes it or purchases an F seat.
Just waitlist a single saver F and consider a standard F closer to departure time if points balance permits.

I'm looking at the seat map for Sq238 (777-300er) and it's only showing Row 1. Is there only one row in these planes now?

edit: oh gawd. I had the 1 award saver seat selection window opened and left to recheck the date and now not available :(

edit #2: ok so 30mins later the seat shows available for booking now and no longer "not available. However, when it did become "not available" the Standard award became waitlist only. So it looks like even if I book the 1 seat now, I may not be able to book a standard seat later on. :(
