How long did it take for people to get their card from HSBC US. I set up the checking account three weeks ago and still haven't got anything.

I was able to follow up over chat as well. Pretty responsive. It's meant to be sent via DHL express, so within a week.
You might need to ring up and follow up. I had an issue getting my credit card because it didn't use the address attached to my checking account - so things definitely can go wrong
Use planet express . They can easily tell by the return address on envelope that the sender is a bank .My forwarder declined delivery of my AU Citi Strata Premier card. They’ve done that before with Amex Platinum. I’m guessing the platinum was overtly a credit card. I thought the Citi card came in a plain envelope. They’ve accepted deliveries before when I’ve specifically called them out. Didn’t think my Citi card would be overtly a credit card as opposed to an unmarked envelope. Hoping it won’t make Citi start to ask questions I don’t want to answer as they did that previously with my Citi Priority ATM card (the guy at the branch opened it as priority - assuming he got more brownie points - even though I didn’t have the balance for priority or the intention to increase my Citi checking balance to the required levels). Aside from having a rant, I wanted to check what others’ experiences have been on this count with declined mail. I’m using Anytime Mailbox and would hate to ‘move’ again especially as that address isn’t currently flagged as CMRA.
Planet Express had no issues accepting and forwarding my AA card last year. I'm going for the Premier Stata around Sept-ish in time for a big Aussie road trip. 3x on fuel and groceries would be nice!Use planet express . In my recent experience with my Chase Hyatt card $5 was too risky and they blocked my Apple Pay card until I got my hands on the physical card.Guys whats the general advice for using Chase cards on phone wallets straight after approval? Its my 2nd chase card. Have a bill of 2.5k I need to pay this week and just got approved for the CSR. Ill not get the card in time even know i did get rush delivered to Aus.
Too risky to spend 2.5k on phone wallet in first week?

Prety much an instant block. on the first transaction, I suspect may also have had to do with me changing addresses a few weeks before the application. How quickly did that happen?
I've done $3k USD on the Chase WoH using Google Pay in the last couple of weeks with no issues. All pretty small transactions (max $200) except one $900 via PayPal. But I did use Google Pay a lot with my CSP before getting the WoH, not sure if that makes any difference.

Even if you manage to have it reactivated . From my experience they will limit the amount you can spend everyday .Prety much an instant block. on the first transaction, I suspect may also have had to do with me changing addresses a few weeks before the application.
I'd previously managed to use my CSP and CIBC with Apple Pay and frequently had to call to get unblocked early on, no longer an issue now with any of them now they've been heavily used.
you can check by signing up for a $1 for 1st month Equifax account to see what your credit score is.Finally, I am paying to get my ITIN.
I applied in the last few days and I will now wait 11 weeks, via SH Studio.
My brother resides in Los Angeles, so I will be using his address to send my ITIN details to. I have held US Bank accounts in the past with my Passport Number, my number has since changed since I renewed it.
My question is, if I opened up my bank account based on a passport vs an ITIN, can I open up a new account? I do not have any records of my past accounts.
Either way, my focus would be to try and start small, perhaps a BoFA Secured Card to build credit. OR, would I hold credit already?
I had a Verizon Account (Postpaid) when I opened it for an iPhone 15 Pro Max and used my Passport & my Visa which was the 3 months stay visa. OR, does credit not build unless you have an ITIN or an SSN?

I tried to use my CSP via ApplePay for my first transaction for $3k at officeworks. All my accounts were frozen. The banker at the branch remembered me and was able to unblock it all.Guys whats the general advice for using Chase cards on phone wallets straight after approval? Its my 2nd chase card. Oh ok, thanks, I will take a look when I get my ITINyou can check by signing up for a $1 for 1st month Equifax account to see what your credit score is.
This is the case of you need to get out of your way a bit. I did not bank with HSBC but make my P2 to accompany me to HSBC branch to open bank accounts for this purpose. And it served us well - If you dont have Amex. You can earn the HSBC CC points as well. I still keep the card as earning pretty good in Australia for Supermarket and Petrol.Oh ok, thanks, I will take a look when I get my ITIN
I do not have an AMEX in AUS or HSBC, I applied for AMEX but was declined sadly. I do not bank with HSBC.
