They used to mention that you need to provide itin or passport details Within 30 days of card would be closed . One could disregard that .For an authorised user? No you can’t.

Many enquiries from credit providers? Too many card applications? Is that the issue?.. so many enquires ..
I mean that's what Frank said as well so you should just wait 30 days instead of calling.First reinstatement attempt not successful yesterday even though all accounts fully paid
Asked the reason I have short credit history and so many enquires.
Have to wait 30 days before I try again .
Yep. They're deeming it as credit seeking behaviour. Bust out risk is high. Esp if they do a soft pull and see you have outstanding balances on multiple across cards from different credit providers. Many enquiries from credit providers? Too many card applications? Is that the issue?
How long is your history ?Asked the reason I have short credit history and so many enquires.
Since 2019How long is your history ?
As I said I have been through this. Your points were already gone despite showing in the system . I have been through this twice. This is the process:Since 2019
Don’t have any balance at all apart from an Amex biz which won’t be visible .I mean that's what Frank said as well so you should just wait 30 days instead of calling.

Ok . Thanks .As I said I have been through this. Your points were already gone despite showing in the system . I have been through this twice. This is the process:
- all card are closed. Points still show but you can't use them
- you can call and they might be able to get account reactivated, if. Ot can only try again in 30 days as they want to see the refresh of your credit score
- during this time, you need to pay off all balance and not apply for any credit at all, make sure all personal balances are low to report good utilisation
- call after 30 days to get accounts reinstated. They will ask heaps of questions so be prepared to answer (why heaps of purchases overseas, what exact business to do you, why applying for so much credit, etc)
- if they reinstate the card, then all the points will come back
If this happens to you or anyone else where chase closes the card down, try and withdraw all points right away (might already be locked)
Plenty of good advice here.. you need to pay off all balance and not apply for any credit at all ..
I don't know. All I know is that my points all came back when the card was reopened but when the new statement closed.Don’t have any balance at all apart from an Amex biz which won’t be visible .
Ok . Thanks .
Do you know if the united points still showing as pending will get transferred across when next statement closes ?
What do you think were the triggers for your two shutdowns ?I don't know. All I know is that my points all came back when the card was reopened but when the new statement closed.
I still have PTSD and log into my chase account everyday waiting for my cards to be closed again![]()
Were they reinstated in the first attempt or did it take multiple attempts 30 days apart ?I don't know. All I know is that my points all came back when the card was reopened but when the new statement closed.
