Strategy to obtain US Amex

Has anyone used a virtual card number with C1 before receiving the card? I'm a little hesitant to use it on international spend in case it gets flagged for fraud.

I was ultra cautious with C1. US only (online) spend prior to receiving the physical card.

Then physical card use in store, then Apple Pay, and now lots of virtual cards. It’s a great feature (virtual cards)

That's fair. I have a few bills to pay but I'm not sure if I'll get the card in time. My VX1 was only used via GPay or Physical and for international transactions. Not many DPs online so I might take the loss with this.

in relation to Billpay.
I know a few (hundred) pages back someone worked out that Alipay was being coded as Hilton Honors direct spend (roflmao) for 14x back on aspire. I dug deeper and noticed that there are (a range of) services promoting bpay via alipay, mostly in the language you would expect Alipay talk to be in.

Billpay meaning paying bills in general, or specifically Australians using Auspost to pay their bills?

Bill pay in the US context means services used to pay off a credit card. Some of them are not restricted to using funds directly pulled from a bank account, which should give you a hint as to how they can be subject to gaming/abuse.

Hi AFF Team,

I'm really having some challenges with my partner's application with Chase. Myself, personally, has finally had some luck with Cheese credit cards, and I have had four credit cards so far, and the last two has been fairly smooth process, which only requires ITIN form uploaded before approval. However, when it comes to my partner's application, this is already the second time that she tried to apply for Chase credit card. We have first already confirmed the ITIN over the phone, and then submitted the proof of address (used amex checking statement), ID, and the ITIN letter. We have then called the Chase numerous of times and it finally went to what's so-called a back-office review on docs (I noticed almost every time we call Chase we would received a mail warning us potential identity theft and ask us to call Chase to confirm it is my partner herself who applied for this card). Yesterday we called again and we were told that we have contacted the chase reconsideration team for multiple times and this is now the final decision that this application has been rejected due to documents supplied does not meet the back-office's requirement. They would not disclose any further information.

I wonder in this case should I keep trying reconsideration line or should I give up on this application and start fresh again in the next one or two months' time. Any help would be much appreciated.
