Strategy to obtain US Amex

I've got a Citi AA Biz card, actually not 1 but 2 Citi AA Biz. I did 2 to dd on the SUB. If you are approved for the 2nd card before completing the minimum spend on the 1st card then you'll be eligible for the SUB on the 2nd card as well.

I got it both this year, 3 months apart. I had a bit under 4 yrs credit history when I applied for the 1st card.

Application was pretty straight forward. Went through the app online and went under review. Waited for them to send a letter which was a request for ITIN and passport. Fax that in, called them a few days later and was approved over the phone.

2nd app was even easier instant approval online.

Contrary to others experience. Citibank has been much easier to deal with compared to Chase and Barlays.

Have had no fraud alerts at all even on larger $2-3k transactions. (Learnt to not add the card to google pay and mostly just use the card online.)

I still haven't managed to get a Chase card approved even after many applications. They are PITA to deal with. Probably the worst bank.
Thanks for your DP. Yes I heard about the 2 cards method. However I got rejected multiple times. I'm at around under 1.5 years credit. Just hoping to know anyone get approval with that thin credit. Got checking account with them for 2 months now. Not sure if it helps.
