Next question for you all - I am doing PER-SIN on Tiger arriving at 2:30am. CX flight leaves at 1:30pm for the SIN-BKK leg. Is there any way I can check in online so I can go straight over to T2-3, clear immigration and sleep in the lounge?

The other option was the transit hotel, but I doubt I will be able to check in so early and get airside unless I can do it online. Kind of frustrating!!

The skyview (CX) lounge would possibly be closed.

SIN has 24 hours check-in facilities - check the Changi web site to see if CX uses this.

From the CX website would appear lounge is 24hr but check-in does not open until 5am. No word on the 24hr facility.

CX do have OLCI which you may be able to use with 48 hours of the flight.

Can't you;
1. Bring forward to the end of this week the 80 Status Credit flights you will undertake in early August?
2. Put back the 100 Status Credit Flights to be taken in the last week of July to August, and have a great kick off of 180 status credits towards 2009-10 Status
3. If that doesn't work, I guess it's up, up and away this week, but depending on the Class you fly, be prepared to do a lot of sitting!!:mrgreen:

I am a WP until end September 2009. I will fall short by 800SC and have not received any emails or letters from QF asking for travel plans.

What should I do?

I've been WP for the last 8 years with Partner Gold in each year as well. I retired in March 2008. My status year ends on August 31st. Before I retired I had enough SC's to keep WP on review on 31/8/2008. Since then I have done only one trip US & return and I earned 1050 SC's from that trip meaning I was 150 short of requalifying for WP at the end of this month. I was comped WP until 31/8/2010 and received my notification about 3 weeks ago (I think?). So timing would be consistent with Serfty's post.

Based on what has been posted about QF automatically comping status then this should happen ~8 weeks from reassessment date which in your case would be ~05 August 2009.

If you have not already seen your reassessment date changed to September 2010 then you may not be automatically comped Platinum status but may receive a please explain letter in the next few weeks.

How long were you WP for? And how much did you achieve it by over the last few years? Wondered if this comes into play, along with only being 2/3rd of the way there this year.

May depend on whether you have been comped in the past. They tend not to leave people on higher status levels forever!

I'm 20 SC away from renewing SG by the end of next month (not going to be an issue), and have heard nothing either.

800 SC's short seems a bit much to comp? I haven't been compd before - i can understand comping a few SC short but 800?

I mean good luck m8, I hope you do but 800 is a lot to expect.
