Hi,new to this. I am booking a multi city flights all with Qantas through Skyscanner (Expedia) they are all Qantas ticketed but flights are with Emirate’s.
Will I still receive status credits ?
Sorry if I’m posting this in wrong section

If they're ticketed on the QF codeshare, they will get the QF status Credits. So flight numbers need to be QFxx_x

Also depending on which fare class you book the number of status credits you earn will differ. Economy Sale tickets earn a very different rate to Flexible Economy.

Yes on Skyscanner they definitely are, Qf xx_x operated by emirates.
Will they come up on my qantas page once I book through Expedia ?

Welcome to AFF. I've had no dealings with Skyscanner, but are there advantages to you in not booking directly through QF?

I've read some reviews about Skyscanner. Some good. Some not good. Is it about the lowest price?

Any potential missed connections issues possible in your itinerary (i.e., would you like to be able to phone anytime, day or night, to sort any issues out?). Any hidden costs (baggage, seat selection, …) Are prices quoted in real time? Costs involved if need to cancel/change your itinerary ….

With 3rd part sites you need to be wary of any unknowns. Not trying to put you off. Hope it goes well for you.

Check the flight numbers that Expedia are giving for the flights, when you get there

Yes, the flight bookings should show up in your QFF account assuming you've put your number in when making the booking.

If the flight number is QF8xx_ (eg: QF8407 MEL-DXB) then you'd get points and status credits per the QF earning table. If it's EK flight number (eg: EK415) then you'd only get points.

hope this helps
