status credit earn question

i think ive seen this asked before. i recently had a coolangatta - melbourne flight for myself and daughter. the flight down earn was enough to get my status over the 1000 mark to gain platinum. as usual it took about a week for the credits to come through and then to have my status to be upgraded. in the meantime i earned 40 for the return trip. the additional 40 went into my account before my upgrade. Are those 40 lost ?

They shouldnt be lost.
Get on the phone to VFF and have them look investigate it.
The only time ive "lost" SC's, is when i first clicked over to Plat, and the extra SC's i earned on the same day werent counted.

Thanks for your help. I got in contact and they moved the status credits into my current renewal period.
