Patiently waiting for my 60k points, hit the 3k spend before 60 days and have gone through 2 statement cycles already....

As a data point, I applied in November, took 2 weeks to receive the card. Hit the minimum spend within the first 3 weeks of receiving the card, and the bonus points have now posted (first cycle).

Rang up, acknowledged payslips, said there's heavy volume (ok) timeframe was 48-72 hrs, so said I should be informed by end of day.

Won't delaying any toilet breaks in anticipation.

Oh FFS, got an email asking for

2 computerised payslips from your main employer no older than 2 months, showing your Year-to-date income. If you are unable to provide payslips- please send bank statements showing your name and employment income received in the last 3 months.

They were provided on Monday. And they have everything on them as described.

Rang up and apparently there's an error that's been dropping off the payslips. Have to ring back tomorrow to have it escalated.

Probably the same with BoM.

Rang back this morning. They've acknowledged the pay slips emailed from last night. Sighted them, read the dates back to me. Goes off the line for a minute or so. Will be going to the assessment team now and will take 3-9 business days.

So just be aware of the hurdles here. They will likely lose your payslips. And there's a massive time delay after that on assessment.

Just applied for this card. Provided my latest tax return which is the 2016 return and lodged within the 18 month time limit. Just spoke to the call centre after they requested my return for the third time. They won't accept the 2016 return and it must be the 2017 return (which I haven't lodged yet and won't for a few months). Very poor business practice with outright false information being provided. Just cancelled the application.

Was approved late yesterday. Bit of a hassle, but have money to put through the card at the moment which is why I didn't give up. No point spending without a bonus!

Does it say in the terms and conditions what the minimum annual wage is?

Just got mine approved
Only took a month
sending stuff twice
Don't know how they function but anyway if this card still works for the ATO I have some big bills comiing in January so hopefully it's worth the hassle and cost
