Just a question regarding amplify signature. Do you need to nominate QFF or rewards at the beginning of use of the card? Can you swap to the other at a later date? Or is it a fixed thing.

Can someone please confirm that paying my ato bill will qualify as part of the minimum spend to get the bonus points?
And that spend earns points ?

I nominated to use QFF points during the application

Looks like this offer is still available. I opened a Complete Freedom account online a day before, then next day tried to ask for this deal at the branch. The branch manager couldn't find it even though he tried very hard by calling to many departments. At the end I called St George hotline and they said the deal is still available for existing customers. Spent 20 minutes in applications over the phone and will be providing payslips etc over the next few days ….

What is the st George hotline number please?

What's the points per $ on this QFF card? Incentive account is fee free right?
3k spend in 3 months.

Patiently waiting for my 60k points, hit the 3k spend before 60 days and have gone through 2 statement cycles already....

Further update. After phoning them to apply, and then I submitted all my payslips and rental income documentation to St George. Then later last week they called and said that they need to see my tax return for 2016-2017 (I haven't even done it yet!) because the rental income coco was not "clear" (yes it was crystal clear!) ..... I told them to Fxx_ off and just cancelled the application! I have never been asked to submit tax return statements for home loans, let alone credit card application!

No thanks St George!

I haven't even done my tax return for 2016-2017 yet as well. And I don't have any payslips as well.
My salaries just straight deposit to my bank acc. Is it ok to apply signature credit card?

Late to the party and attempted to get on board with this. Internet chat said no longer available. Phone/call centre said option removed as of 21st September. No escalation to supervisor, no flexibility, no giving me a fee free first year. Curse you St George

Might be worth periodically enquiring if they have another first year no annual fee offer.
The offer "cycle" has changed now.

My annual fee is due in January so applied for my wife over the weekend under the offer above. Similar credit score and same financial status as myself, but so far there has been many more questions compared to my application 10 months ago.

Things like the payslips have “Date 30-10-17”, but BOM want them to say “Payment Date 30-10-17”. Never had that before in all my churning years!

18th April 2018

Nice timeline. Can squeeze in a couple of other cards before this.

Geez these buggers are slow. Couldn't get the Qantas Mastercard site to even accept my details on second try so I thought I'd go with this. Applied early Monday, approved subject to pay slips. Emailed the payslips in immediately. zzzzzzzzzzzz

A week and a half later and were are still trying to provide acceptable income proof. Have supplied proof 3 seperate times but now they want 3 months of bank statements for a standard employee with rental properties. Our statements are issues quarterly, so the most recent statement ends 30 sept. BOM are not happy with an online banking transaction printout.

Now they are not happy with the rental statements issued by a major real estate acency. Want to see it on a real bank statement!

None of this was an issue at the start of the year with my application. Makes me wonder if approvals process has changed or been outsourced.

...and like deeben says, every time you upload something, it takes 3 days for a response.

Rang up, acknowledged payslips, said there's heavy volume (ok) timeframe was 48-72 hrs, so said I should be informed by end of day.

Won't delaying any toilet breaks in anticipation.
