I'm needing to book a flight BOM-SIN. Looking at SQ. There is SQ423 departing at 23:35, and SQ425 departing at 00:55. (A380, A350 respectively).
SQ425 is cheaper, significantly. (Yes, I have checked the price for the following day - not making the midnight mistake)
But it just seems a bit strange that there are two flights leaving within 90 minutes. I would've expected a bigger gap between departures. The other flight of the day departs at 11:50.
Is this normal? Are there any traps that I might face if I take the cheaper flight?
I'm departing SIN on Qantas the following evening. Maybe that answer my question, I should book SQ423 to at least have a 1 flight buffer.
Edit: the price saving is ~A$400.
