Flew (Air)NZ with an SQ KF# in the NZ booking system in Jul this year.
It was in Works Deluxe, the fare was not cheap either, Au$5xx or so.
Edit: had put in a retro points claim, came back declined, had kept etx booking details too.
Didn't check account after flight, left it the normal few weeks, checked yesterday.
No mileage had appeared for my NZ898 flight, MEL - CHC.
But the mileage has appeared for CHC - AKL - ADL, also this one had my SQ KF# in booking.
Seems that SQ is very picky about the cheaper fares paid for flying with their partner airlines, esp where SQ KF# has been entered into the partners FF system for mileage accrual.
Had the same with VA, flying an Au domestic route, with my SQ KF# in the booking too, that one too got denied.
So if anyone is planning to fly Au - NZ, with NZ, and thinking of accruing SQ KF miles, better fly VA;s own plane, and put in VA FF#, or if need the day flight, fly QF and earn QF points and QF SC.
MEL - WLG flying SQ's own plane, with my SQ KF# in the booking, the miles have appeared, flew subclass of J.
Yes, I know this is a long winded vent.
