Spirits Spotted at the VA Lounge SYD

The venue is already 18+* so from a RSA perspective they're permitted to provide self-serve spirits under supervision. It seems to circle back to the cost of providing spirits.

*Anyone under 18 must be under supervision by a responsible adult.

I agree. I was more thinking about those "responsible adults" becoming rolling drunk due to extended delays. VA does need to control that and it's just as possible to wipe oneself out on wine as it is on spirits. I belive the decision will rest with a simple equation......cost < benefit = :D .......cost > benefit = :(

I think so too, especially since they're under a lot of financial stress.. It's also a lot easier to drink 3 rum & cokes than 3 beers..

Do different RSA policies apply to airside international lounges then? Self-pour spirits at Q Business Lounge T1 Syd, the old Koru lounge as well (however the new Koru now has a service bar). So no RSA beyond Customs?

I don't think RSA has anything to do with it. The VA lounges are domestic and "pour your own" happens there (no customs either).

The Instagram says MEL are they available in SYD as well ?

VA need more of these promos, don't mind if their sponsored

I'm clearly blind. I see MEL, but I think SYD.

I don't mind if they're sponsored either, I just want some consistency!
