Spice bar at Melbourne Qantas Domestic Business Lounge

That's now been on at least 2 weeks in a row - I will be dissapointed if it hasn't changed by Friday
Still there yesterday. I had the beef. Was too sweet. Other flavours decent. (I've never been a big fan of rendang so not a great judge to be fair).

While I didn’t mind it, I have had it on two consecutive visits over a week and would much prefer trying something different a week later

Still the Randang. I only travel through Melbourne maybe once a month or so and hence was kinda hoping it won’t change by today.

Very yummie I find, especially with some chilli condiments.

Had the rendang last week when passing through Melbourne. The beef was pretty good and had the rendang taste that i would expect. The vegetable version however was more of a soup/laksa type consistency with a very different taste. I didnt mind it but didnt seem to be a rendang.

All these laksas and soup based dishes must be a dishwashing nightmare. I still travel through most weeks and there’s so much liquid left I feel I need to start telling them to just use a single ladel.
They’re tasty but pretty impractical with a white shirt
Reminds me of a previous job where I worked in an office. We'd go for laksa for lunch on regular basis. I had a specific "laksa shirt" I'd keep in the office for specifically that reason.

It’s the noodles, not the liquid that’s a shirt hazard! No different to a tomato based pasta sauce - that’s almost guaranteed to find space on a white shirt.

It is both - the liquid on the noodles as one "slurps" and watch out for the splash should something fall off your eating utensil back into the bowl or onto your shirt ...

First world problems - we shouldn't be complaining that there is something decent being served.

However - I am in total agreeance ... I'd much rather see something served that is more travel / potential mess friendly.

Laksa still!

I’ll report back if it’s changed next week…
Szechuan minced pork with noodles today (plus a mushroom veg dish).

Only a small amount of liquid but enough to get a small drop on my jeans. First time ever! šŸ˜‚

Quite tasty. Also various self serve dishes.
