Where do you think it will go, or where should it go?
You had me worried for a moment when you mentioned TT as my immediate thought was you were talking about Tiger.I'd actually like to see some TT services in there... I don't like the fact that QF only operates TT's with 737's, and as such would chose EK / LA or even NZ over QF.

I would like to see a MEL-HKG, as at the moment I always go via SYD to get the A380. If I am in a hurry I get CX from MEL as their A330's are at least good, and have PE!
Also another A380 into HKG would go nicely with some CX codeshares...
If there were to be a A380 MEL-HKG I am sure it would be a winner, MEL-HKG tends to be quite full despite the old equipment.

Any reason why a route that flies through HKG and onwards to Shanghai or Beijing wouldn't be workable?
Won't they need 5th freedom to pick up pax in HKG?
The current SYD-HKG A380 has 9.5 hours out, 2.8 hours in HKG and 9.2 hours back for around 21 hours away from base. A tag to anywhere useful isn't going to be worth it.I believe there is also a scheduling issue, i.e. the aircraft couldn't do SYD/MEL-HKG-PEK-HKG-SYD/MEL in one day.
