Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

A bit of advance notice for next year. I am heading along the Canning Stock Route May/June 2024 so will not be organising a lounge run. I suggest those who are participating in the run this year have the discussion about where to go next year. Or of course you could decide not to hold one as you would be so devastated that I wouldn't be there! 🤣 🤣 🤣

Happy to discuss with the others, HKG has been a good option in the past. The CX lounges are opening up and QF is now back in the mix. For the more adventurous types a start in Japan may also come into the mix as JL has renewed the lounges in NRT and HND. JL and CX fly to HKG and there maybe connections from HKG back to AU with QF/CX. Just a thought.

Is anyone in KL at the moment and interested in meeting up over the next couple of days?
I'm flying to KL tomorrow night, but will be working from the Airport Lounge(s) before flying to SIN 3:30pm for a dry wet run Friday evening - arriving in Sentral after MH610 ~11pm.

Bit of an update from me!

I am still arriving on SQ183 at 1855, but now have an onward boarding pass on MH610 (seat 3D at the moment!) and will be in KUL until Tuesday arvo. Haven't booked accom yet but Hilton KL Sentral is looking likely for at least the first night.

For those in KL on Saturday night.
KL dinner/drinks - June 10th, from ~7pm:

Vote for which option you prefer (A or B), and we'll go with group consensus:

Proposing two options for the fly-ins, either:
A) Jalan Alor street (cheap/hawker style/local food)
B) Changkat Bukit Bintang, bar/restaurant type with plenty of western options (100m walk from where option A is located)

Location is approx 5min drive/grab from KLCC, or 10mins drive/grab from KL Sentral.

A couple of local KL based frequent flyers will also be joining.

Edit: no idea what i was thinking with petaling

There will be quite the throng on MH610. Welcome to the madhouse!

Thanks for taking the lead on this. It will be good to see you wherever we end up.

Option A please sir.

I like that thinking; would plan to be on such a one.

A) is fine ...
Hah, those electronically minded can browse (brave!) Plaza Low Yat as a warm up.💻🖨️🖥️⌨️📱

Easy monorail for me from Medan Tuanku. It is also a 15 minute MRL ride from (Nu) Sentral.

I seem to have ended up with a spare pair of QR pyjamas, size L. If anyone on the crawl would like them I can bring them to SIN tomorrow. Apologies for not posting in the free to good home thread but being on the crawl is a requirement as they won’t fit in my luggage to take back to AU.

I arrived in KL last night and will be an apology for this evenings catch up. A mate of mine has made some plans for me and is sending his ADC to collect me this morning. See you tomorrow at KUL also I assume there is a regular bus that is running between the main and satellite terminals.

@JessicaTam I will take them if they are available.
