I noticed that you can credit to both HH as well as an Airline partner.

I very rarely stay at Hilton's, but if you can do it as above.. why not, right? (Unless I'm missing something?)

So in that case, is it worth quoting my AA number, or my QF?

Flashware,

Alternately you can opt for extra HH points instead of airline points. You need to specify in your profile and be careful as there are different rates for different airlines.

I still find I get better value from opting for extra bonus HH points in place of mixed HH and Airline miles. But each person places different priorities and values on the points/miles. At least HH give you the choice to do it your way.

I do this also for what it's worth. ;)

Given I'd only be staying @ Hilton's once in a blue moon.. maybe the mixture would be best for me.

If however I was staying a few times a year... then I guess that would be a different story.

Hilton marketing cal the "Double Dip® Earnings Style Options"/"My Way™"

I vary this depending on the accommodation rate.

You are always going to get 10 HHonors points per eligible USD spend.

You can choose to get one of these in addition (among others):
  1. 5 points per USD
  2. 1000 QFF points
  3. 500 AAdvantage points
  4. 1 airline mile per USD spend (Not with Qf)

I very mine depending on things like rate and stay length, but for my most common stays recently (single nights), I have taken the 1000 QFF points.
