G'day guys,
I am 310 SC's away from reaching Partner Gold, and currently have a few domestic red e-deals booked prior to my status requalification period in two months.
I am debating whether or not qualifying once more for WP+PG is worth it (another Fiji status run will do it). Does WP+PG offer me greater benefits than WP (in terms of operational upgrades, seating allocation etc)? Having had WP+PG for the past three years I often think it does because I have had an enormous number of Op Ups domestically and internationally.
My wife won't be flying individually this year at all until December, so the Gold Status for her isn't really an issue. I have a few domestic flights intermittently throughout the year, but my wife and I are planning either a DONE4 or a trip to the USA via Japan in J at the end of the year, so perhaps the WP+PG may be handy?
I am interested to know your thoughts. BTW I am about 2000 SC's away from Lifetime Gold so that is something I also want to achieve within the next two years.
Thanks,
DB.
