until last year i was able to transfer my airnz points to my husbands for a reward now air nz had changed their ff program. Does anyone know of any ff program that still does this.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Tanyavu, I don't knowabout them all but I can comment on a few:

- AA (I think it is) still have a "family" account where they can be shared around (others may correct me if I'm wrong)
- QF you can certainly use your points for immediate family, but you can't combine points from two accounts to form sufficient for an award ticket

Skywards, the program of Emirates and Sri Lankan, has an option where one person could accrue points from his/her travelling family members. But, I would not generally recommend as they award only 25% of the standard points (and the family members who fly do not get anything!).

Regarding QF, my understanding also is that you can buy a ticket out of your points for a family member, but you can not transfer points to another person's account.

As mentioned by others, quite a few programs allow you to use your points to buy tickets for others however not actually transfer your points. United Airlines Mileage Plus is another example of this. A good reason to have a system where all points accumulation is in the name of one person only. Others then only get points for any actual flights they take :!:
