Just double checked, dep 1540 so likely to try and arrive at airport c1pm. Hopefully then into lounge without too much delay at checkin.

May catch you if all goes smoothly for us and reach lounge if you get delayed (with your luck, highly probable!).

As per the other thread, you would need two WP/OWE's to achieve this.

You are not missing out on anything by being in the business lounge. In my opinion the QF/BA business lounge is much better, and bigger, than the QF/BA first lounge and has a better variety of food on offer.

Also the First Lounge gets extremely full close to departure but I guess the same can be said for the Business Lounge.

JohnK from what you describe, it seems the FLounge experience overseas is somewhat different from the FLounge experience in SYD/MEL.

Maybe i should just aim to try out the FLounge in SYD/MEL only then?

Most carriers have their best lounges in their own country. In my opinion the F lounges in BKK/SIN are nice but do not compare with the F lounges in SYD/MEL.

Wed 9 Sep Dulles 1000 - 1300 Can I guest someone to the chairmans lounge? If I can then 1 guest.
Wed 9 Sep LAX TBIT 1630 - 2230 1 guest although I have so much time could maybe dash into town for dinner. Or people watch at the airport.

Nup! not by the rules. (although there's only an additional 50 metre if you try and fail).

John I realised we're going to be in T5 anyway (and about two hours later as well).:(
For some reason I thought we were flying out of T5. Not likely to have much lounge time, if any, with a 2 hour T5 --> T4 connection anyway....

If flying BA metal to HKG then T5, if on QF metal then T4.
