I'm flyign SQ that flight, and don't have *A status yet. will have silver by end of September and gold by mid-november, so then it will be F lounges all the time!

Already have QF lifetime gold and partner gold this year on QF, so, as am currently based in SIN, am making the most of the *A option.

Have to say, not having flown SQ before this year, I'm pretty impressed - I think their service beats QF hands down, and I have been a loyal QF flyer for a long time now.

I also prefer the flat bed on the A380 and 777ER to the QF product, particularly for the night flights where the option is available.

I believe in the J lounge it does open at 12, and the QP 2pm :evil:

I logged on today and there it was. I then rang to try for seating and the very helpful lady has put the appropriate requests in and was reasonably optimistic about those also.
