Not normally a great joiner of things, so it will be interesting to see how this goes. I fly quite a bit and have the standard hassles any regular traveller would have but normally get to resolve them without too much fuss. However, recent experiences with Qantas customer services have been so appalling that I have decided to see what ways there might be to draw attention to the fact that, no matter how good a company's planes and flight staff may be, if customer service is not up to scratch, it's going to lose customers. They've certainly lost me.

Anyway, enough about that for the time being. I'll read some posts and see what fellow members have to say.

Thanks ... motivation was getting bad customer service from Qantas but there seems to be a lot to read here ... all good ... daresay I'll find a whinge or two ...

My experience with QF customer service has deteriorated badly lately.
 
Thanks for all your greetings! As far as Qantas is concerned, it looks like a dead duck to me, I am fairly new to their FF programme as I am based in Europe and my return trips to Australia have been based on price and availability - which has meant using a variety of airlines. I joined because a trip to Dubai with Qantas was much better than expected - so I thought I would stick with them for these trips to see how it went. The flights have been great (except that the stopovers in Dubai aren't handled very well) but we had some issues with the last trip re Qantas rescheduling and it is clear to me that I need more clout to get any kind of positive reaction. Still, I am enjoying the forum ... so thanks again!
 
Welcome to AFF Teejay. It would be handy if you let us know where you are from in your profile. Other members are then better placed to offer or ask for advice. Sounds like you will have some good Euro advice to share.
