However, my seat selection options for all upcoming bookings hasn't changed at all (still only up to row 17 on the 73H). What have other peoples experiences been? Is that system just slow at realising the new status, or will better seat selection only be available on new bookings?

I found it took another day or so to reflect the changes, and it does show on current bookings.
