Hmm.. can't seem to log into Velocity now. Comes back with "Unfortunately this request could not be processed."

I can log in now. Bugger - I thought I might have been comp'd Plat for that inconvenience. :-|
 
I locked my account today due to a caps lock issue/operator error. Anyway, reset the account on line no worries, including a new password. After I did that the My Bookings link worked without making me log in again. :D Just reporting here in case anyone wants to experiment.

Mine still makes me log in again. But I'm able to stay logged in for more than 2mins without it resetting now which is nice

My SC table for upgrade is now correctly displaying.
 
Escalation has finally worked a treat - Plat showing, all flights credited. However, the box in the top RHS still showing an incorrect SC balance (I would have thought it should show 15, but shows 855 - the addition of my balance yesterday (730) and the 125 SC posted today (110 from 10 Jan [the point at which I then achieved Plat] and 15 from 31 Jan). I trust this issue will be dealth with overnight...unless they are giving me Plat re-qualed for 2014 :D

That box always shows your 12-month rolling SC balance, not your SCs earned since last upgrade/requal. If it drops to 15 it will only be because you're not doing any flying!
 
Fruitcake, thanks for the clarification on the rolling 12 months, still not as au fait with the VA system as I am with QF's. My first year as Plat, now to re-qual my 800 SC's - 15 down ;), plenty to go.

I would hate for that situation you mentioned to be the case :eek:

Agree with fruitcake. Once you hit Platinum, the Status Credit Balance basically becomes pointless. The accruing "Points to retain" balance becomes the most important one... firstly 800 to requal, and then 1300 for Companion Gold (500 SCs after requal achieved) and then 1800 for Companion Platinum (1000 SCs after requal achieved).
 
One nice thing they have done - rather than a review date of 10 Jan, they have given me 7 February - so no loss of ability to use my Plat status for the full 12 months. Now both my anniversaries are in February.

Just had my first call with the Plat Desk, lovely lass helped me (can't name her). I love Bonus Confirmed Upgrades :D
 
kevrosmith, thank you for putting these on my radar. Not sure of their achieveability (as I need to keep QF Gold concurrently), but handy to know nontheless.

Hi Eastwest101 - just an update to advise that the SCs showed up for both flights today and the BNE-LAX leg DID credit at the correct Y+ SC earn rate.
 
The new system is ****, very slow and points take longer to appear. Have spoken to the virgin velocity membership crew and all they had to say was we're in transition and improving the situation.
