I booked a RTW flight with Best Flights, leaving tomorrow.

Last week I checked the baggage allocation and it seems I have:
2 x bags per person - Sydney to London
1 x bags per person - London to Rome
NO x bags per person - Rome to NY
2 x bags per person - NY to Sydney

I've called Qantas, BA and AA and they all refer me to Best Flights. I spoke to Best Flights who told me it's all resolved but I have to pay excess baggage for 1 bag (only got 1 allocated per person and want to take 2) London to Rome to NY. But I logged into my Manage Booking today and it still says no baggage.

No response from Best Flights today even after waiting in the queue for 20 mins. What do I do?! Surely I should have 2 bags all the way through as it's a RTW flight?!

Please help. Thanks so much. Milly

Hi Serfty
Thanks so much for that. I'll try and decipher it all and hopefully won't get charged for excess baggage.

Cheers

Is it a RTW ticket all on one PNR?

Hi Nuxie

Im not sure what a PNR is but it's all on the same booking reference if that's what you mean?

Thanks

There may be more than one 'ticket' even under the one booking reference/PNR.

Should be 2 bags per person for the entire itinerary if all booked on the same ticket..

Do you know if there is just the one eticket issued or is it multiple ones?

Where did you obtain the baggage allowance info from - the actual copy of the eticket receipt, the itinerary itself or was it Best Flights who told you over the phone.
