RewardPay Alternatives

Anyone able to add money into super using Amex via Bpay. I tried using my Amex (Oz but was thinking the US one too) to top up my Mrs super. Sniip declined the transaction saying it is not supported. This is aware Super. Does any platform work?

Can’t seem to reach credit rewards. I’m assuming this is the best bet to pay DEFT with amex based on previous posts(was going to use sniip but looks like they don’t allow deft with amex). Anyone else had any trouble accessing credit rewards?

I used Credit Rewards this (last) week and received an email confirming the payment "is on its way" on 21/1, as scheduled

What problem were you facing?

Was getting “HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found.” errors constantly when I tried the UR earlier today. Just tried it again, and it’s intermittent, sometimes I get 404 again and next I get to the website.

I've also found with DEFT that the Sniip app follows a different path, perhaps because DEFT accepts credit card via BPAY itself (which many other billers do not), and AMEX is not part of the BPAY payment system, so perhaps Sniip's computer is seeing 'BPAY credit card' and then restricting the available cards to match, rather than what you can do with other billers where you basically pay Sniip as a normal transaction, and once Sniip has the money, then pay your bill via BPAY from their bank account. Should send that as feedback to Sniip so they can fix!

Figured out the issue. I was using "http://creditrewards.com.au/" to try and get to the site, need to use the https link "Literally pay any bills | Earn Rewards | Preserve Cash" to get to it. Also, some other links on their website went to 404, important links like how to sign up.... have given feedback to them on their website so they should hopefully fix it.

Have you tried Sniip which is cheaper than creditreward 1.5% and if you have an Australian Amex (Explorer I know) you get 1000 Amex points if you process bills $50 or more

Sniip told me that DEFT is not allowed as Macquarie asked to be excluded or something like that (guess 3%+ for Amex vs zero with 1.5% via Sniip really adds up).

first alternative I tried, but like others have said, doesn’t work for paying DEFT bills with an amex. As far as I can tell, CR is the next best option

apologies for my ignorance whats DEFT bills and how does it defer from other bills. I did a google search and did not get a definite answer.

It’s for payment of strata levy (in NSW?!). I believe it’s a collection service offered by Macquarie Bank and rightly or wrongly find both payers (apartment owners) and payees (strata/body Corp) being ripped off by the charges

pay.com.au another entrant (shared in the ATO thread).

run by the pointhacks team I've been told
I'll definitely be trying the Mastercard 0.85%+GST (free account) this month.

I might have misread the email but they seem more expensive than the competition & have a monthly fee. The. ‘Mist popular’ plan is the one with the highest monthly fee. I thought they are a startup up. Have I misread it?

Concierge service and advice for the plans with the monthly fees I read.
I guess bit like FF solutions or Steve Hui style.. Though not sure exactly what they are offering

The market isn't exactly awash with high-earn MasterCards, so this doesn't seem like a particularly compelling offer? YMMV if you want Qantas points and have the Qantas Titanium and an ABN, I guess?
