Release date for QF Classic Award J class seats

Can anyone point me to the thread that states when (ie to the hour) Qantas:
a. releases award seats (is it 353 days in advance) ?
b. let's plats and above request award seats

We are CL and CLP+P1 and are looking to request business class seats for (around) 27.12.19 to 30.12.19 and I think we might've missed the release date by a few days. We're after 4 x SYD to LAX or SYD to Dallas. I know its a big ask but we've had success in the past with this size of ask.

Can anyone advise the hour they're released ?

I thought i saw something about the above in a recent newsletter but can't track down the thread or article on the subject.

From the QF web site I can see seats available until 9th January. SYD-LAX but only 2 on any one day.

I'm only Gold these days so your availability could/should be greater.

Nothing much shows from SYD-DFW

I’ve read it’s at 10am Qld time. I’d call them and get them to release seats if you can’t see availability. Could you consider travelling separately? And from different cities? Fingers crossed.

As CL, your best bet would be to call up Qantas and simply request the seats you want. I'm sure they'll do everything they can to accommodate you.

Yes, 10am BNE time (so that means 11am in NSW and Victoria in daylight saving time). And yes, 353 days out. Be aware though, on some flights there may be no award seats released, especially in F and J.

You may request seats to be released from the time they go on sale (i.e also 353 days out).
