Redemption from IST temporarily unavailable online?

Just a heads up:

With the recent devaluation coming up, I was looking to book the flight back from Europe via IST. Turns out, today is the day (April 6th) they are doing the big migration to the new airport, so attempting to search for a redemption flight via IST will instead only show up with ISL (Ataturk airport). Funnily enough, you can still search/buy SQ tickets with cash via IST.

Seems like I was to able to search for flights a week before, with TK/Thai using less Krisflyer points (78k). Will probably call them up soon to see if they still have flights if the problem persists past today. Seems like a whole series of unfortunate events though (Amex devaluation, SQ devaluation of S*, now booking problems )

It's probably just an IT glitch. Were you able to book over the phone with KrisFlyer?

Success! I was able to ring them up, confirm availability and book. Actually, I had to call twice, because I thought the transfer from velocity to krisflyer would take a few business days but it was virtually instant.

Booked the TK flight at that leaves IST at 2am. Hope the lounge is nice at the new airport .

Really should have booked earlier last year but hey... live and let learn. Still better than letting the points sit for a year and getting slammed by yet another devaluation.

I was seeing routing via Frankfurt (!) when I looked last week. Haven't looked at the new award chart yet but 45k SIN-IST in 1-2-1 business class was a really good deal.
