Red Energy referral 15,000 QF points [now 7,000 or $100]

Thanks again @Ktan89
Email came through today.
As we share the same email for all our bills etc, it did have Mr Flyfrequently a bit baffled to read "thank you K........"
It appears you share the same first name 🤭
Works out well for both. Thank you :)
He must have thought it was a phishing email haha or qantas data breach

In following up my Red Energy reward, asked about my Green Leaf not appearing.
Turns out, though my contract is for added GreenPower, it had not been applied - since November '23!
Options were to retrospectively * pay the extra 4 c per kW 🤦‍♀️ or recommence it now.
Took the latter and proactively offered $50 credit- good customer service Red Energy.

* Can't even work out how much I would have had to pay.... nor could the agent, I quit while I was still ahead!

Im pretty happy with my red energy bill
but have been told to ask for monthly bills as they do averages and its cheaper
no idea why but my bill is pretty cheap now

and switch to Red Energy today.

Hi all, with just me at home, and gas not really needed now it's spring (I just have a gas fire), I'll need a referral to make the 1,000 points by year end for the 20 SC

Just one referral will see me do well! Thanks

Hi everyone - coming back to this thread after kicking it off in 2018. Can’t believe it has been that long! Anyway, I just used a referral code to sign back up to Red Energy. Hoping someone will do the same for me. (The things we do for 20 SCs !) Customer number 8804625.

Red Energy - Refer A Friend

After years with Red, I switched to Ovo Energy. Not only were they cheaper but the clincher was free electricity daily between 11-2, PLUS a $120 sign up credit by using someone’s referral code, ($180 if you have an EV), PLUS linking a free Virgin Money debit card to my Ovo account earns me Virgin Money points which I redeem for Velocity points 2:1. They pay you 3% interest on any credit balance, and they have a handy app which allows you to track your electricity usage by the hour. If all that isn’t enough to make you glow, they also donate 50c per month per customer to National Parks & Wildlife.
