Methinks you may have to take that up with the Airport/Terminal management. I don't believe Qantas are responsible; it's the terminals' admistrations who get the 'rent' revenue from these spruikers.macca172 said:... Memo to QF management....these sprookers as I said are a pain in the butt. I dont like being sprooked by some upstart yelling at you from 20+ metres away, trying to flog their wares, especially rip off credit cards. Do yourselves and your customers a huge favour and get rid of them!

The difference for me is that these guys call out as I walk past, trying to engage me in conversation, which I don't like. I don't have that much of a problem walking through the DF store as no-one is trying to hussle me.Kiwi Flyer said:How is that any different to the australian international terminals where you need to walk through duty free?

They don't for me - but my half-deafness (left ear only, better than normal in the other ear) clicks in, and becomes very selective (selective deafness is a good thing to have, trust me).

At Sydney , you can nicely avoid the duty free. Just after the x-ray machines, there is a staircase on the right which goes up to the Mezzanine coming up right by the QP
