Missed the 6th wicket standing in line to get a table at the second sitting. We’re not eating but we are drinking - a bottle of RunRig 2009

Another wicket - Pope out to a great diving catch and Cameron Green’s first wicket. 7/122

Rain didn't arrive quickly enough for the English but looks like lasting long enough for the Aussie batsmen.

We better get some play on day 2.... rain looms ominously

and hopefully we Runrings around them and score at least 490 !

that would be something to savour !

Made it to son’s primary school graduation and didn’t need to drink anything. A Berocca and water were needed last night and awoke to clear head this morning.

On the train to get to the game early as play starts at 9:30am due to play being stopped early yesterday. More rain overnight but a clear sky now - just smoking humid. Ball should swing this morning so our batsmen have to weather the English fasts onslaught. Then the run should flow and expect another afternoon storm.

Today’s wine is Henschke. Looking forward to it 👍
