Hi all,

I'm travelling on a DGLOB34 RTW fare from Australia-US-UK-Singapore-Australia - all flights booked in D (Business) class. I have received the expected points and status credits on international legs, but got rejected on a missing points claim travelling DEN-ORD-OMA in Business/First, stating "Some airfares, booking classes and flights are not eligible to earn". When I look at the Earning Calculator on QF website, it only states "Business" or "First" as categories - no mention of fare codes within Business.

Is there guidance or clarity on whether D fare code will earn for intra-US legs ?

They certainly should. I’d follow up with QFFF (not the call centre but the FF centre).

Rather than the calculator, here is the page listing all the eligible earn fare buckets: https://www.qantas.com/au/en/freque...s/earn-category-tables.html#american-airlines

D class is listed.

My first thought was maybe one of the flights was on a codeshare. However this shouldn't happen on a DGLOB and Envoy who do fly on that route are a recognised subsidiary of AA

Update - Resolved, but initial response was to decline the claim. Then I sent a nice email, they reviewed the boarding passes and within 20 min all sorted for both points and SCs.

Thanks @MEL_Traveller for your advice - it worked :)
