I find Qantas Mall points to come through regularly for me!

Re: QF Loyalty, earn 1,300 pts+ in Dec & get1K bonus pts offer

Clearly it must be related to prior spend as I do not have any and have received an offer of earn 300 receive 500 bonus.

The registration page lists the shopping partners and the earn rates - it shows DJ's as 5 points per dollar.
David Jones is 10 points/$ this month.

All 4 accounts have a handy points balance thanks to Everyday Rewards but I feel the spend required for this promotion is too high. See how we go with Everyday Rewards points earn and whether it's worthwhile to try and achieve the target.

Am I the only member who hasn't received this email yet? :p
Probably not the only one, but in the minority ;). Might be a P1 curse .

From the T&C's
You have received this email because you are subscribed to Qantas Frequent Flyer 'Other Partner Offers' emails

So no tricky algorithm, loves_the_life

I haven't got it...yet. :( Wonder if it is targeted. I've just done some shopping at DJs but sure I can do a bit more.

It must be a really interesting algorithm deciding the points here - either that or it is just a random set of "spend XX get XX.
Not sure I will be celebrating too much - I got the email :) but it was earn 950 and get 750  Hardly worth holding my breath for and according to the T & Cs can only be earned once. They are bonus points after all so shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.
I agree they have probably based the offer on the spend/points earned activity from partners over past 12 months, using the chart shown in our FF account

Ah, that explains it, thanks.

Toss up whether the additional garbage into the in-box is worth it. I don't buy that much ...

Ebay have a 20% off top local retailers offer on at present:

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/170606

Thats not a bad opportunity to get some good points and save $$$, just bought a Nespresso Latissma from the good guys, Ebay took $85 off and there is also a $100 cash back so effective price is $400 odd down to $240 after cash back, plus 700 odd points

Re: QF Loyalty, earn 1,300 pts+ in Dec & get1K bonus pts offer

Earn 150 points with our shopping partners in December 2014 and you'll receive 500 bonus points.

These numbers are very random.
How do I spend earn 150 with partners...

Spend $15 at David Jones via the Qantas online mall. That would be the cheapest way.

Wow I think you win Nick!

So according to QF I earnt an average of ~750 points/month shopping over the last year. So my target is 1500. I wonder if that's the calculation?

Not for me. Average of 1600 per month, target is 1.5 times the average at 2900. I've only exceed 2900 in one month for 2014. So it is definitely a stretch target.

Cooking wine and 1000 QFF $69

Cellarmasters: Wine Online | Buy Wine Online in Australia

These usually credit within a week or so.

Ebay have a 20% off top local retailers offer on at present:

I have some Wish giftcards that are about to expiry and wanted to buy my sister a TV for Christmas but Dicksmith only accepts Paypal.

Oh well so cheapo wine from Cellarmasters might be good. I have a couple of $50 vouchers for Cellarmasters but the min spend is $120. Any recomendations to tag onto the 1000 point $69 wines.

I haven't finished looking, but so far I've yet to find anything in DJ's online store that I actually want that isn't way overpriced.

No wonder they're offering 10 points per dollar.

Oh I don't know - I've had a couple of orders through them in the last few weeks. This last order includes 2 Jura coffee machine filters (@ $20) - the coffee roaster we were at last week had them for $30 and at Harvey Norman they are still $20, so cheap really. Also a bath mat for $10 (mark down) and some other things that were the same price everywhere else.

For the stuff I buy, they are quite competitive.
