QF lounge meet ups - How to answer the offers?

Just wondering if people do answer the offers of 'I am in the lounge " ?
I have offered a couple of times but no success. Sadly also no one else in the lounge comments they are there

Just interested in knowing how you think a malicious factors troll can take advantage of the lounge meetup information?

Posting where you go and when you are not at home can potentially cause issues if the information falls in the wrong hands (using handles provides only a thin layer of anonymity). Sometimes it’s better to be safe than sorry. Small chance for anything to happen but someone I know well got burned (not on AFF).
