On the 2045 Jq flight to Sydney. When the Qf fight to Perth at 820pm was called to board , we were (politely) asked to leave the J lounge and wait in the main QC as the J lounge was closing. No biggie of course but J* pax are really treated as the poor cousins by Qf:eek:

It does state on the QF website that the QF lounges will close after the last QF flight.
A bit strange at this time of night though.

There is usually a 9pm flight to SYD, perhaps not on a Saturday night?

Same in ADL, except they kick you out of the QC as there is no J lounge. However, the EK flight has sorted out that little issue nicely.

OOL closed in the middle of the day for a couple of hours though I think there is a J* lounge there.

no ... The JQ lounge was relabled a QP and ceased being open all day when QF went back to OOL ... .
A bit poor then as they closed at 1pm and asked every one to leave - people were still arriving into the lounge at 5 to 1 so guess they would not have been pleased. They were to open again at about 3.30 IIRC. We were on QF but the plane was delayed so the lounge was still open at 1.15 but the announcements had been made about closing.

This has happened to me in BNE past when on last QF flight of the night and it may have been delayed.
