QF Double Status Credits (SC) offer for all :)

Surely it's about time for QF to roll this out again... bump loads up over the quieter summer period?

Pretty unlikely IMHO, too many people would have taken advantage of the DSC offer, got their status up and now have to bit the bullet to keep it or maybe downgrade to Gold

I booked a trip for late March next year with this promo: Syd-Lhr (QF)-Vie (BA) in J return....1260 SCs to retain Plat and more importantly to achieve LT Gold

This seems to cause a few issues internally when offers get applied to credit vouchers. I cancelled a flight to HKG in January booked during the DSC offer. I opted for a credit voucher and then wanted the recent 50% bonus SC offer applied to the bookings under the voucher. It slipped my mind to even ask if the DSC offer could apply to these flights. In the end, I got a few different responses but ultimately I emailed the Qantas team who said to contact them after my flying had been done so they could ensure SCs got credited correctly (e.g. 50% bonus) and that they would honour the offer.

As such, I would be very interested in the outcome of this as my SC earn could increase by 25%.

Let us know what the P1 team advises.

P1 team confirmed I should still be eligible but will need to quote original booking reference when re-booking flights and that flights need to be done by April (not July) as I suspected. Some progress and I appreciate the response. I may or may not get to P1 again -- but as I'm no longer too concerned with that status with QF -- I may just get the refund rather than re-book and I'm not too fussed if double credits post or not (but obviously will still check).

I'm pleased to report that half my DSCs credited without any issues for a recent trip to HKG. Assuming the return trip credits as easily, 340SCs for a Y+ sale fare (flown in J via upgrades) is pretty good, IMO.

I flew MEL - LHR 5 days ago and bonus status credits have now been issued. (Bit of a surprise since I booked these flights outside of the promo period using a voucher for cancelled flights booked during the promo period - wouldn't have thought it would carry across)
