Looks like next June/July School holidays QF3/4 getting up-gauged to 744 again.

Edit: appears to be 19/6 to 28/8.

More schedule changes - Now goes M/W/Th/F/Sa and not Sunday outside school hols it seems. Also 744 now consistently on this route as far as I can see on qantas.com timetable. Cant see any announcement. Changes uploaded over weekend.

Any thoughts on whether QF will repeat the move to 747's to HNL in the 2019/2020 summer period? There were some pretty good prices on the premium cabins last time around!

can't understand why Australians would want to go to Hawaii. Our beaches are much better.

I don't think Qantas will have enough 747s left by then.

.... and there’s more to Hawaii than just (Oahu) beaches. Most of the other islands have plenty going for them, and not really about beaches.

great please list them
I take it you aren’t a fan of Hawaii?
I’ve never been but know plenty that have and absolutely love it with several going back quite often. I wouldn’t mind checking it out one day to see what all the fuss is about

yes have been there too many times, not just to main island, especially when Canada 3000 used to fly direct Brisbane/Vancouver via Honolulu.

It seems to be very expensive.

The think TV programmes like Hawaii 5 o, are getting people to want to go to Hawaii.

There also seem to be a lot of conferences in Hawaii (Americans can go there without a passport), so Australians go to these conferences there(or at least they pretend to go), so they can get a tax write off.

Heard a trick that some doctors use to go to a conference ... book the most expensive business class ticket, get an invoice, pay for it, but instruct travel agent to not ticket it & instead change the booking to the whole family into economy & then claim the business class fare. Tax department will never catch them.

To me, parts of main island are like the gold coast gone wrong.
