Now how many points do you earn for a SYD-SYD or a MEL-MEL flight? No points either, its a charter!

Of course, there's always "Tail Cam"....
But $999 to sit in the middle of the aircraft in economy and not have the chance to rotate into a window seat doesn't sound like good value ...
But did you look at the seating plan. The $999 seats also seem to include the exit rows towards the rear. But $999 to sit in the middle of the aircraft in economy and not have the chance to rotate into a window seat doesn't sound like good value, that and it's not a point or SC earner![]()

It certainly beats getting sea sick on a boat to get to the coast.

But you are purchasing SYD-SYDTechnically it goes SYD - MEL - SYD. Just takes a lot longer on the return![]()
But you are purchasing SYD-SYD. Its like when you purchase LHR-SYD you get points/SCs for LHR-SYD not for LHR-SIN-SYD or LHR-BKK-SYD as you may actually fly. Its all about what the ticket says!
I have had that on a ticket when reaching the sector count on a DONE4 and wanting to upgrade all the way through from J->F.And I hope to god none f your tickets ever say just LHR-SYD![]()
