Thanks.
Travel Guru said:It has a fair bit, in my opinion it's the best seat in economy on an 800 series, though unfortunately as a Silver you've got buckleys and none of being allocated it as they tend to block it off for CL and WP, especially on the more popular corporate routes.

The exit rows 13 and 14 are blocked out, but row 4 is available. That's why I was wondering if it's in fact any good - the whole reason for this thread. I thought since it's available, perhaps it's no better than a normal seat. but you guys said it's decent so....woohoo!
Not this little WP duck ... running at ~60% preallocated and ~80% in seat 4C/D since OLCI was implemented.oz_mark said:It is a decent seat, and I do try to move myself to them if they come up! But generally you will only get one if for some reason someone has vacated the seat.

There is your problemTravel Guru said:I usually find I can only snag row 4 using OLCI when they're using 400 series, and im usually 2nd or 3rd to checkin.
NM said:There is your problem. You need to wait and time the OLCI process for just after the person who was pre-allocated the row 4 seat has changed their flight. Then you can snag it through the OLCI process.

I am not bothered about the lack of overhead bin space and I do not fancy the exit rows on a 738 at all.
