Qantas Wine latest offering

Do people consider them good value?

2002 was a 10/10 year for Grange according to Langtons so I guess that explains why it disappeared so quickly.. If you're in the market for $60/bottle wine there's also Bethany GR 11, and a couple of Two Hands labels available at VM for $60. So many options :)

The current mid year cellar sale (48 hour early bird alert?) email caught my attention - no bonus points but a few items that I considered to be a good price

I've gone for 6 of the Katnook Founders Block Cab Sav 2013 for $15.20 a bottle, a couple of $ cheaper than DM's

I went for some of the St Hallett OBST (10 & 13) after really enjoying it on a QF flight the other day - I considered it to be a very easy drinking everyday wine and it met my price point.

opened the email; went to epicure with in 15 minutes of getting the email....SOLD OUT. presumably there were only 1 or 2 of that vintage on offer
That's interesting since under consumer law the agency must have sufficient stocks to meet reasonably predicted orders. I'd drop them a line and remind them of this and request they comply with the law.

Coles had a product on sale recently, insufficient stock and sold out within minutes of the catalogue starting. Didnt restock the product till the raincheck had expired.

I always thought that you only had to have one available

No. (AFAIK) Consumer law says you have to have a 'reasonable' quantity available to meet a 'reasonably' expected demand. Many retailers have been fined for such baiting behaviour of having just one. You can run it for a very limited time but this must be specified in the promo.

I've had a clean out from under my desk. Taken all the Cellarmaster home and my sole box of Virgin wine. Most are a year old, so they'll be aged now

What's the usual Epiqure delivery time these days? I placed an order 5 days ago and it's still showing as processing.

Delays are ongoing. My six pack ordered on the 16th hasn't been dispatched yet. Made a call to make sure it hadn't gone astray, all okay, they're just running late.

Can't say I'm at all impressed. 6 cases have all been sent to the depot "awaiting collection". I specifically ensured I selected the authority to leave... Won't be home for a few weeks so I guess they're heading back to Epiqure!

Not good. I'd rather it go missing than have to go to the depot!
