Whatever that means.

I quite like it - and even more importantly, it's showing a new domestic sale :D Might try darwin for a weekend, get out of this damn cold!

I like it. Maybe it could be their new angle....a change is as good as a holiday!!!

I'm trying to pay for a booking and my valid credit card is being recognised as expired. Perhaps this is all related...

I noticed it's having a few issues over here in the UK right now - I'm assuming related to the Ashes sale. I managed to pick up a £215 LHR-BKK-SYD-SIN-LHR ticket though so I'm partly to blame :)

i like it so far. its fresh but not too arty which is always a risk with new websites.

a good mix of corporate yet still a bit stylish.

i agree... if it aint broke dont fix it...

pertinent when your revenue stream has been gutted by economic conditions, but I guess in the grand scheme of things these sort of upgrades to the website are probably not all that significant. I'm ambivalent to the changes. Both old and new were/are OK.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Don't mind it, though it reminds me of car rental websites with the new layout. Gets bonus points for migrating saved searches to the main page instead of just FF section though (though that could have been done earlier).

Must say I quite like it too.

Was a bit of a shock when I loaded it up today though.

I like it (less redness), but what's with the "Skip Navigation" link above and to the right of the Qantas logo?

That was on the previous design too. When clicking it just moves my page down to the content a few lines down. I think it's a relic of something that once was.

Now I know why the booking pages were looking rather different in style for a while......it was all part of a master plan.... :)

I like it.

Thought it was in the pipeline when the new layout/design of the 'Manage my Booking" page was viewed in the past month or so.

Exactly what I was thinking too, though I wonder why it took this long to get it operational.

the site itself worked quite well. Now just seems busy and clustered.

One thing I'm not keen on is the ever-increasing amount of flash-content used. Means lots of things don't load on my iPod.

I am inclined to agree on the use of flash but you should jail-break your ipod and get a flash player anyway.... or get a now toshiba tg01 that has flash and like an ipod but WM

First of all - I do like the new website.

However, there are still teething problems. I logged on yesterday to check out possible flights for Sunday as I was expecting confirmation that I had to be in Perth by Monday.

To make things difficult, I would need to go BNK-SYD (or MEL) - PER.

BNK-SYD(or MEL) would be operated by JQ.

Now this was fine yesterday when checking out fares (I got the go ahead late yesterday afternoon)- today it wont let me do it, even though there is a two hour difference arriving in SYD and departing SYD for PER.

I get the following error:

Flight Search error:
The time window requested for one or more of your flights has been adjusted to remain within time window rules.(#7160)
Flights out are not available for the date / time specified. Modify your request and search again. (# 9200)

Yet searching for the flights separately I can get on them. It was cheaper to do it all in one yesterday!

Anyway, it looks as though the qantas.com.au website can't access JQ fares at this stage. Would I be right in assuming this?

my internet explorer keeps freezing every time i load qantas.com & .au.... its driving me insane :(

Hi Guys,

I though I would add my 2 cents to this.

QF is aware of the freezeing issues with IE, and some other issues with Firefox (Not displaying menus correctly and unable to book flights in some instances)

The IT guys are currently working on it.

One thing I'm not keen on is the ever-increasing amount of flash-content used. Means lots of things don't load on my iPod.

What would be really nice is if QF came up with a usable mobile website that played nice on iPhone/iPod Touch and Blackberries - or even better, a proper native app for both (the current iPhone app doesn't cut it).

Just tried to do a dummy Oneworld award booking on the website. Apart from the normal 'connectivity' issues, it now doesn't automatically calculate (down) to the 140,000 point level, and just comes up with an absurd points total calculated as a combination of one-way trips.

For a oneworld award you need travel with two airlines other than Qantas in the routing.

I just did a couple of tests selecting flights on QF, BA and AA and it worked properly one time and not the other. Further tests seem to indicate that the points do not reduce unless flights on the two carriers other than Qantas are selected before you reach 140K.

This is correct.

I have been unable to reproduce the issue unless QF is the only carrier.
