Noticed website was down for quite a few hours tonight and would not allow online checkin. When it was back up have noticed quite a few changes. Mt initial impression is that it seems a bit cluttered with too much going on. What do others think?

I noticed that it was down for a while too - I thought the new look was pretty clean - there's still a few things not quite working yet.

I don't mind it! Nice fresh look. It will take a little bit of time to adjust though :)

I don't see that it's a massive improvement - most everything appears to be the same, except for the front page. Otherwise nice. :)

If it ain't broke, don't fix it IMO.

Still some teething issues by the looks of things (images not displaying correctly etc.)

I like it (less redness), but what's with the "Skip Navigation" link above and to the right of the Qantas logo?

Their web designer needs a kick - "qantas.com.au" gives a 404 page.

I don't know, while I'm not against refreshing personally I preferred the previous site - at least there was a constant swathe of red to give it some dynamics, the amount of white in this new design is quite offputting.

I like it, looks nice and clean. Accessing via qantas.com.au rather than Qantas.com works fine for me; so possibly they've fixed that now.

The only problem I have is in the 'offers' part of the page, it's blank.

Offers page also blank for me.

I dont like it. The layout is very similar, but just with new colours and graphics. Strikes me as change for change sake. Too chunky.

It seems it may be part of the updating to do with the new logo (stylised kangaroo) and they want more white and less red (to differentiate from DJ).

Offers page still blank for me as (Sydney)

Also still get the load unsecud items prompt on secure pages (when in FF section) - is it that hard to duplicate the images on the secure server.

Also it takes a long time to load the next page wehn you click on the Awards tab (one of the five red tabs on the left)

For me clicking 'awards' redirects me to my QFF account section (I had already logged in before clicking on it, so not sure on it's behaviour if you're not already logged in).

I like the new site. But that's probably because the eyes don't mind a change of scenery. The white space gives a bit of a breather feel.

No operational problems as it seems here. Full steam ahead!

Now I know why the booking pages were looking rather different in style for a while......it was all part of a master plan.... :)

I like it.

Thought it was in the pipeline when the new layout/design of the 'Manage my Booking" page was viewed in the past month or so.

I had the same problem. I was using Firefox 3.5 with adblock plus.

I turned off adblock and refreshed a few times. The "Offers" loaded. I turned adblock back on and the "offers" still loads ok.

I'm thinking the adblock bit was irrelevant.

May be a cookie/refresh issue.

Maybe it's our over zealous proxy at work!

i agree... if it aint broke dont fix it...

the site itself worked quite well. Now just seems busy and clustered.

if anything needs to be fixed its the customer service centers. China airlines has better customer service phone staff than qantas!
