To partially close this loop - unsuccessful Y flex to J on QF35 at T-9 hrs as WP but got digital boarding pass notification of seat change to 8E at T-1 hr in QF f loungeNot sure if this is the correct thread to ask this, but im on a flex Y QF ticket MEL-SIN-LHR (24-Jun) on QF35 and QF1. On requesting a J classic upgrade only QF35 has an option to select on departure upgrade as well. Is there a reason I wasn’t given the option for QF1? Is it because I’m only joining sector 2? or does selecting on departure consideration for QF35 also auto selects it for QF1?
And likewise on the return QF2 (13-Jul) doesn’t have an option for on departure consideration, only the second sector QF36 does?!
