Qantas-Uber tie-up

Am now onto 5th Uber Diamond Support person - they keep closing my case saying points take 60 days. They arent understanding the issue is it posted zero points. Still no response from Qantas.
 
I had the same problem and called Qantas FF call centre. The lady (who sounded like she was in Manila) said no-one else had called them about it but that she would check and get back to me. I mentioned that it was a known issue on this forum and am now waiting to hear back...

I had a lot of success with getting points for all Uber trips that were initiated via the Qantas app regardless of involving an airport or not. ISTR gettting qantas points for uber trips that didn't involve using the Qantas app on one occasion.

Ive come to the conclusion that Uber Rewards Support wont even look into it until I reach the 60 day mark. Ive raised two support tickets via the Qantas web page - no response to ether and I've never received a ticket number even though site says they will send one. Checked spam nothing. I think the general claim - other web form is broken.
 
My understanding is that Uber support generally passes any QF points related issues back to Qantas. I'm overseas at the moment though, so I'll perhaps give QFF a call when I'm back. Have another unrelated points issue to discuss as well (partner non-OW airline, valid fare class, posted as zero).
 
After chasing this further with Qantas’ live chat service, the points landed in my account today.

The activity line showing 0 points from Uber is still there, below the new entry showing 200 points - so this looks like a manual fix.

The answer appears to be to raise it with Qantas FF, rather than Uber, though I have no idea the extent to which my being platinum resulted in me getting an outcome. Good luck!

Thanks for the update. I got 2 standard reply emails from QFF today for the tickets I raised both referring me to uber to read about how trips to and from the airport work. I sent a reply asking them to read the issues as unrelated. Guess im going to have to battle 3 hour wait on phone at some stage next week.
 
Checking my account today, I now have an additional line with the Uber transfer successfully posted at 200 points. and I never ended up calling or writing. I don't think there's any QF representatives on this forum any more so perhaps they've fixed everyone up?

Just checked mine and have:

Unclear whether they re-processed the rewards transactions of these are manual adjustments. Either way I will now try and redeem the next lot to see if works first time or not (i.e if the fix genuine)
 
Problem seems to be permanently fixed, i did a new redemption on Monday night and was in my QFF account Tuesday.
 
Yup same for me. Redeemed in the Uber app for another 200 QF points yesterday and they're already in the account today.
 
Noticed i ahve also received unexpected Uber points - no email received about any such promotions though:

Same. I don't bother expecting any Uber points to come through anymore. They tend to show up when they want to show up, regardless of how many queries I raise with support.
 
Since resuming regular uber use in Feb have notice points posting quickly and without issue. Airport trips within 24 hrs (usually less) and uber rewards points within 48 hrs (usually 24).

No such luck with me. Used Uber to and from DRW on 22nd and 30th May. No sign of the points. Don't think I can be bothered chasing it.

Sorry to open up an old thread but thought this the most relevant place to ask.

Normally my uber trips to and from the airport (when flying Qantas that day) post to my Qantas FF account (for the bonus points offer they always run) within 10 days.

I've had 4 Qantas flights now over the last month where no bonus Uber points have been posted.

Even on opening the Qantas app just now to review my points, I got a push notification with the "travel uber to and from the airport to get bonus points" offer...

Anyone else not seeing their points post?
 
I did a couple of Uber-Airport trips in the last month in Sydney and noticed at least one had been posted to my QFF a few days after. It's possible (likely) the other one I forgot to book via QFF app and did it on the Uber app directly though...
