I find this comment by a QF spokesperson hilarious considering that the shift to T1 and consequent airport redevelopment has been held up for years by QF and only by QF.Qantas still sounding pretty bullish on Perth-Asia A321XLR flights in the future, esp India
“We’re pretty motivated and encouraged with what Perth can be when the airport redevelopment comes to life.”

Interesting enough article from Perth airport for those who use it;
Are there plans to make the walk between the terminal and car park undercover? Even the current situation at T1 means getting out of the building to the pick-up area means getting wet if it's raining. Really stupid design.

Only problem is both arrivals and departures is ground level. So even if they're smart enough to sign post it well and install sufficient elevators, it still means lift up to level one, across the bridge and lift back down to ground level. Well done PER airport, well done!Level 1 parking map shows links to the train station bridge.
Although as soon as you check in you have to go up a floor and then go back down again to the aircraft.Only problem is both arrivals and departures is ground level. Only for some of the gates, but yes, you're right.Although as soon as you check in you have to go up a floor and then go back down again to the aircraft.
I know ADL-AKL is an international flight, but, like all 737 flights, it is actually operated by QFd not QFi.Will be good when and if they do move to PER T1, as there is the hotel going up there, so can overnight from somewhere else, and then get the QF flight out, eg, ADL (last flight of the day), to PER, then PER - SIN with QFi, and the elsewhere overseas where you have to go...
Seeing no QFi regular flights out of ADL, apart from the seasonal flight that QFi does ADL -> AKL.
