Nah, nothing really to do with targeting anyone making travel decisions based on the designer PJs. Doubt many / any of those pax exist. Much bigger market than that.

personally, I think an airline engaging and a very expensive designer to produce some limited-edition fancy printed, probably China made PJ’s is utterly utterly ridiculous. Just get the damn aeroplane I’ve paid to be on where it should be, on time.

Lol! Not ever heard of contra deals? Who said it was expensive?? See how the designer and make up artist were listed in the byline?

That’s because they get exposure both with qantas and also in the media..
 
I like the look of them. navy so much nicer than grey. Shame they arent updating the PJs on all US routes I would have liked a free set - but iM only flying QF7 and QF12

Even if one wanted to buy a set they are only selling the s/m, no L available. So clearly only targeting petite women.

Two sizes available
S/M and M/L
The latter will likely be the same size as the current M/L.
I find those to be fairly generously sized.
QF have only ever briefly had a set of PJs that fitted petite women and that was back when the Martin Grant suit was first introduced to F IIRC.
It was quickly up sized due to feedback from bigger pax likely.
I still have my set from that launch.

There may be two sizes manufactured for the flights but in the QF marketplace right now they only have S/M available for sale - i just checked out of curiosity. Zero ability to pay for a M/L right now.

It would be good if they did womens cut (allowing for bust) and mens; Id prefer a v-neck, round neck is very masculine and less comfy.

They did have M/L when I clicked through from my email.

They must have been so popular due to that marketing campaign that they have sold out !! 🤔

Well remember the couple who was booted off QF F at LAX by the captain when they found out that only J JimJam were available and they chucked a tantie?

My half SC worth:
If ever there is a JimJam that screams "look at me" it's this one. I want understated ones. Won't be long before they appear on eBay for $5

They are the same size as the regular PJs.

All of the millennials at my work tuck their scrub top in, not for me but each to their own.
I love the color and design of these. Nice change from the grey ones.
