Forgive me if this has been asked but would these bookings be eligible for a Double SC offer if one is received by say me today? ;)

Booked 18th May for Mrs Ansett and I and paid on my Westapac Vis card and got confirmation under a minute and was able to slect seats on QF MMB with in a minute of booking. Mrs Ansett is very happy. This makes me even Happier :D

Can not see any reason why not.Normal conditions are booked and fly between dates x and Y

Just booked mine. Had a small hiccup with 28 Degrees; didn't go through the first time, so called 28 Degrees, one half of the transaction didn't go through but the other did. Called Expedia Brazil, fudged a bit of Portuguese, managed to get the errant fee processed for refund (fingers crossed).

Just as well, had a different date this time around ;) Ticketed in minutes after conclusion of booking.

Should qualify for the DSC I'd think. Clicked on my registration link before booking, and it's morning in Brazil, 2 April, so no problems with date there!

$400 return to SIN is incredibly tempting! I think I'm going to have to find some spare time to go. ;)

I'm with you...4 day weekend coming up...prices around $500 return (vs $850+ on the AU site). Tempting...

Edit: Ahh, there we go, $401 return at reasonable times too (SYD-MEL-SIN-MEL-SYD, but actually giving us more time in SIN than direct). Good chance to check out the new W too. :)

Hi,

Has anyone noticed that there are no fares in class O left? I wonder if Qantas pulled them from the site. Also if you get Qantas to change the booking after travel has commenced do they add YQ back in?

I can confirm that the tickets works fine (no surprises during checkin on both legs). I didn't dare enough to change it though.

Seems class O is gone... but class N is still there (at ~550$ it's still super cheap).
Class O was still there last night I looked.

'O' is a sale fare. The sale finished last night.

I bought my cheapies at ~$400 and they booked into N. I think when the sale finishes, the base fare price of applicable buckets is reset to its non-sale price. No buckets disappear as such; the prices are adjusted.

Not sure why the bucket isn't O, which is a very common sale bucket. May have anything to do with the system being different, or different buckets for different points of sale (it is possible that fares and buckets are different for each point of sale, but may be equal in price).

My Flights through the br site also booked into N we booked the flights on Monday of this week

Just a warning ... if needing change these, it may be difficult unless you speak Portuguese. Family member booked fare through expedia.com.br, but entered wrong date. T&C show changes allowed for $100AUD fee. The problem is the language barrier, and no contact email address (so can't just communicate via google translations). I do have several Brazilian colleagues, so I think I will end up trying the conference call route.

Ok I'm not seeing any availability through Qantas at all for my route. The original was YUL->AKL and now I'd like to change it to YUL->SYD and change the dates. Any searches don't include Qantas at all.

I am assuming that everyone knows to use Google Chrome as search engine as it will allow you to do simultaneous translation into English. Might be useful to clear cookies if there is a price variation upwards. JoyV

Two Y flights SYD-BKK return booked on Expedia.br for total cost of $896... Now if only I could understand the booking confirmation email!!

Used it for the booking, but it doesn't help with the actual emailed confirmation. Not a big deal, booking has appeared in QFF so as long as it's there I'm fine!

If you view the e-mail in chrome it will translate, other option would be to copy and paste to translate.google.com but yes it all appears in QFF eventually which is probably all you need really.
