Qantas Status Credits Bonus Offers

I have booked a flight to AKL yesterday, and this morning received a SC promotion for flights to AKL for bookings made today for the next 7 days.
Has anyone been successful if getting the SC bonus for a flight made prior to the SC promotion?
Currently I am not having any joy....

That's extremely frustrating.

Just received a 50% offer. However, this one is more restrictive that any previous offer I've received:

An Eligible Flight for the purpose of this bonus Status Credits offer means any Qantas operated international flight with a QF flight number between Australia and London (via Perth or Singapore) where Status Credits are normally earned. Connecting domestic flights to/from the eligible Qantas gateways are not eligible for bonus Status Credits

I hope this is not a sign of things to come.

Are you sure they didn't include that it only applies on certain days of the week when the wind is blowing from an Easterly direction???

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

......... see if they're able to cancel the tickets and give you a credit voucher, which you may use for your new booking.
Just be careful with the credit voucher, if using the original PNR the original creation date remains and this may end up with a lengthy discussion with QF to get any additional SCs.

You might try the oh I stuffed up if it's within 24 hours of booking and see what happens.

Yeah...i said it was within 24 hrs, but they were steadfast and then said but the booking was made 48 hrs prior...which was the hard part to take as they payment was made 22hrs before receiving the email offering the SC bonus.
I....
anyways thanks for responses

I received a 'just for me' offer this afternoon. Looks to be the same as the one @Jacques Vert received.

Sam, earn 50% more Status Credits on flights to London

How to earn 50% more Status Credits
  1. Register and book an eligible Qantas operated international flight with a QF flight number between Australia and London in Premium Economy, Business or First between 12.01 am (AEDT) 17 October 2019 and 11.59pm (AEDT) 21 October 2019.*
  2. Travel between 1 November 2019 and 31 May 2020.
This offer is exclusively yours. Book yourself unlimited eligible flights now and reach your next tier faster.

Hurry, offer ends 21 October 2019.

Relevant T&C:
  • An Eligible Flight for the purpose of this bonus Status Credits offer means any Qantas operated international flight with a QF flight number between Australia and London (via Perth or Singapore) where Status Credits are normally earned. Connecting domestic flights to/from the eligible Qantas gateways are not eligible for bonus Status Credits.
  • Flight gift vouchers purchased during the promotion but not redeemed for an eligible flight booking during the promotion period will not earn bonus Status Credits. Bonus Status Credits earned from this offer do not count towards Loyalty Bonus, Platinum Bonus Reward, Platinum One Bonus Reward and Status Accelerator/ Challenge earn requirements. Full or part travel of an itinerary is eligible only if you book (regardless of payment date) and travel within the promotional dates as listed above. If you cancel your initial qualifying booking or change it to be outside the promotional period, this bonus offer will not apply.
In previous years I may have been interested, but it's gone straight to the bin.

I also got the London offer. Extremely limited. No economy. Only via SIN or PER. Only until 31 May.

This could very well be the new normal from Qantas.

With the London offer do you think your booking has to go Aus-LHR-Aus or can it go LHR-Aus-LHR? I normally start my bookings out of LHR as it’s cheaper so would be annoying if it’s only out of Aus

It doesn’t specify a direction:

‘Simply book in a premium cabin on an eligible Qantas operated international flight with a QF flight number between Australia and London and earn 50% more Status Credits.*

The between Australia and London to me reads it has to go from Australia to London not London to Australia. But I may be reading it wrong

It is written ambiguously I agree. If it said ‘from’ Australia, that would be specific, but as it says “between”, I don’t know if that’s just sloppy language which QF does frequently.

The between Australia and London to me reads it has to go from Australia to London not London to Australia. But I may be reading it wrong

Got the offer too.

I need Double Status Credits to make it worthwhile and most likely if I was to go to LHR it would be after 31 May 2020. Too restrictive for my needs but good for those who need to fly in that period, I guess.

50% bonus is not going to put me in the ballpark of retaining/attaining Platinum.
