**RESOLVED** QF confirmed their systems were erroneous and the agents were providing incorrect information. Manually repriced correctly at 318k.

I’ve been fighting with QF about a RTW points booking that I haven’t been able to confirm.

Routing is: LHR-ORD-LAX-SYD-DRW-SIN-LHR.

Stopover only in SYD and SIN.

All in J. Website and contact centre pricing at 374k.

As far as I can see, this meets all the criteria for a RTW (or “oneworld award”). However, the system online and via the contact centre prices these as separate segments. Additionally, I can no longer find the T&Cs for the RTW booking on the QF website! I believe they only refer to it as the oneworld award now, and this caps out at 318k - which is what this journey should be priced at.

Has anyone had any success with a recent RTW booking? The contact centre cannot tell me what is wrong with the routing above and have absolutely no idea why it isn’t pricing correctly. The last agent told me “the total journey must be EXACTLY 35,000 miles”. This is obviously absurd as the rule is for it to be a maximum of 35,000 miles. 14.4 in the Frequent Flyer T&Cs (oneworld awards), specifies “maximum 35,000 miles”).

Going in circles with QF and no traction! Has anyone had similar issues?

Do you mean a One World Award, RTW is a paid fare, OWA is on points.

What airlines are you using? You need to include at least two one world Airlines that are not Qantas. If you have any non-one world airlines it will not price correctly.

I’m not aware of any such restriction on mileage in the Oneworld Explorer Round-the-world product.

Rather, it’s based on the number of continents visited.

Details here.

Apologies, you are correct. But carriers are BA, AA and QF. Still can’t figure out where the issue is.

Are you also sure the award seats on all the Qabtas flights are classic awards and no classic plus? Classic plus not eligible for an OWA.

QF 2 is near impossible to get classic awards J seats on.

Definitely all Classic Rewards…

Update, though, after hours on the phone with them. They confirmed it was an error and it’s been re-priced at 318k.

Glad I wasn’t going insane…!
